Queen Anne Residence

The dramatic view property, at risk for landslides, offered an exciting challenge for Ripple Design Studio. A comprehensive geotechnical and structural engineering solution was developed to stabilize the hillside and reinforce the foundation. Rising three stories, the home balances classic and modern elements to create a warm, special place. Checking off the client’s wish list: raw cedar shingles that echo the brickwork of a San Francisco brownstone, spaces geared for daily family life, and curated details like tiled walls and custom walnut cabinet interiors.
