This country kitchen remodel was small in scope but big in impact-part of a long-term construction master plan to update and expand the home. The first phase of the plan involved this kitchen remodel, which changed the character of the entire main floor. The second phase included a master bath remodel, which was modest in scale to make room for an all-new master suite addition, the third and final phase of the master plan. Simple improvements were made along the way, such as Dual-flush toilets and recirculating-loop plumbing-unexpected pleasures in a historic home. With their master plan in place, the homeowners have made well-educated, sustainable decisions for the future of their home.
